Join the 2025 Peace Wave – Europe Segment

On Saturday, July 12, the International Peace Bureau (IPB), together with Stop the War Coalition Philippines, Gensuikyo (Japan), and World BEYOND War, is organizing the 4th edition of the Peace Wave – a 24-hour Zoom broadcast showcasing live peace actions taking place across the globe.

This year, the Peace Wave encourages a focus on the abolition of nuclear weapons, though all peace-related actions are welcome.

The Europe segment will take place from 16:00 to 18:00 CEST.
We want to feature voices and actions from across the continent that are part of the Stop ReArm Europe campaign – and that’s where you come in!

How can you participate?

• Organize or join live local actions on July 12 to be featured during the broadcast.
• Contributions can take many forms: music, artistic performances, educational actions, symbolic gestures, or actions in the streets – anything that carries a message of peace, solidarity, and nonviolence.
• Gather your community on July 12 to watch the Peace Wave together – and see what others around the world are doing. We’ll be connected by one global wave of peace and we’ll have Q&A sessions!

• Share video footage (horizontal) of your events from the StopReArmEurope Week of Action from June 21 to June 29 – or any other recent action you have organized!
